Pricing and the free trial
How much does Liscaragh Save cost?
€19 per month or €190 per year (two months free) per Microsoft 365 tenant. One flat plan with everything included, no tiers, and no per-user charge: everyone in the tenant can use it once it is installed.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, 7 days. A card is required to start it, and nothing is charged during the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, Stripe automatically converts it to a paid subscription on day 8, on whichever plan (monthly or annual) you chose when starting the trial.
How do I cancel?
Use Manage subscription inside the add-in (Settings), which opens Stripe's own billing portal for your subscription. Cancel there. If you cancel during the trial, you are not charged; if you cancel an active subscription, it stops at the end of the billing period you have already paid for. Full detail is in the Terms of Service.
What happens if our subscription lapses or we cancel and come back later?
You will be asked to subscribe again, on the same plan choice as before. A subscription started after a previous one has lapsed or been cancelled does not get a fresh trial; billing starts immediately.
Does every user need their own subscription?
No. One subscription covers the whole Microsoft 365 tenant. There is no per-user or per-seat charge and no limit on how many mailboxes use it.
Setup
What do we need to do to set it up?
A Microsoft 365 admin adds the add-in once, tenant-wide, through the Microsoft 365 admin centre's Integrated apps, which both installs it and grants the permission it needs in the same step. After that, nobody else needs to do anything to start using it. See the install guide for the full walkthrough, including a self-serve option for tenants with admin consent workflow turned on.
Which versions of Outlook does it work with?
New Outlook for Windows, Outlook on the web, and classic Outlook for Windows. It is built specifically for New Outlook, where dragging an email into a browser tab does not reliably work.
Using it
Does it work with shared or delegated mailboxes?
Yes, from a modern Outlook host (New Outlook or Outlook on the web). On an older host, shared mailbox detection is not available and it falls back to the primary mailbox only.
Does it work with shared (group) mailboxes and Microsoft 365 group conversations?
Not group conversations specifically. Microsoft 365 group conversation threads do not expose the underlying email in a way the add-in can read, so saving from a group mailbox is not supported. Primary and shared/delegated mailboxes both work normally.
Can I undo a save?
Yes, for 60 seconds immediately after saving. An Undo button appears and removes the file(s) just created if you click it. After 60 seconds it disappears and the save is final.
Can I save a whole email thread at once?
Yes. Tick "Include the whole conversation" in email mode and every message in the open email's thread is saved as its own file, rather than just the one you have open.
What happens if I save a file with the same name twice?
For a single save, you are asked "save anyway?" before it proceeds. Either way, nothing is silently overwritten: SharePoint automatically renames the new copy on a conflict. Whole-conversation saves skip this prompt so a long thread does not turn into a wall of confirmations, and rely on the same automatic rename.
Data handling
Is there an audit trail?
Yes. Every save and undo is logged: who, what, from which mailbox, to which destination, when, and success or failure. By default that log stays on your own device and is never sent anywhere; Settings has a CSV export and an option to also write the log into a SharePoint location inside your own tenant. Does our email content ever reach Liscaragh's servers?
No. Saving moves data directly between Outlook and your Microsoft 365 tenant using your own sign-in. Liscaragh's own infrastructure only ever holds your tenant ID and subscription status, never your email content, attachments or files. The security page covers this in full.
How do we remove it?
A tenant admin removes it the same way it was added: Microsoft 365 admin centre, Integrated apps, select Liscaragh Save, Remove. This is reversible and does not touch mail flow.
