About Liscaragh Software
Liscaragh Software builds focused tools for Microsoft 365 administrators, consultants and managed service providers.
Every product begins the same way. A real customer project exposes a problem that existing software does not solve well enough. Rather than build a temporary workaround, we build the tool that should have existed in the first place.
How it started
The first product, Liscaragh Migrate, was created during a customer migration from Datto Workplace to Microsoft 365.
At the time, there was no practical way to perform the migration directly while maintaining the visibility, verification and audit trail expected on a professional project. The alternatives involved manual processes that were difficult to repeat consistently at scale.
So we built the missing tool.
That project became Liscaragh Migrate, and it established the approach we continue to follow today. Every product starts with a genuine operational problem before a single line of code is written.
Built by people who use it
Liscaragh Software is led by Dave Devery, a fractional CIO with almost two decades of experience running a managed service provider before moving into consulting and software development.
The software is designed by practitioners who use Microsoft 365 every day. Features are driven by real deployments, real customer requirements and lessons learned from live projects rather than feature checklists or marketing roadmaps. Nothing ships that we would not run against our own clients' tenants first.
What we build
Our products are designed to help organisations manage Microsoft 365 more safely, more efficiently and with greater confidence.
Liscaragh Migrate is our first product, providing direct migration into SharePoint and OneDrive with detailed auditing, verification and reporting while keeping data within the customer's own environment.
Additional Microsoft 365 administration and security tools are currently in development, each solving a specific operational problem encountered during customer engagements.
Our approach
Most tools make you choose. Inexpensive options rarely give you the level of control and visibility a professional migration or admin task needs. Tools that do give you that level of control usually come with enterprise pricing and a long-term commitment. We build for the gap in between: the audit trail, verification and visibility of an enterprise tool, without the enterprise cost or the contract.
We follow two simple principles.
First, every product should solve one problem exceptionally well. We would rather build focused software that people rely on than broad platforms filled with features that rarely get used.
Second, your data should remain under your control. Wherever possible, our software works directly between your systems and Microsoft 365 without routing customer data through our own infrastructure. That keeps your architecture simpler and reduces the number of third parties involved in handling your information.

We build software for managed service providers and internal IT teams.
MSPs need tools that make projects repeatable, predictable and commercially viable across multiple customers.
Internal IT teams need software they can trust for projects that may only happen once every few years, without needing specialist migration expertise.
Although their priorities differ, both groups expect software that is reliable, transparent and built around the way Microsoft 365 is actually administered.
